Law Enforcement Appreciation Day!
The Church of the Annunciation in collaboration with the Knights of Columbus
are hosting our annual Law Enforcement Appreciate Day (L.E.A.D.)!
For the past few years, on the Feast of St. Michael (Patron Saint of Police Officers), we have assembled and delivered lunch bags to the Downtown Police Officers, Mounted Patrol and the Canine Units.
For the past few years, on the Feast of St. Michael (Patron Saint of Police Officers), we have assembled and delivered lunch bags to the Downtown Police Officers, Mounted Patrol and the Canine Units.
The lunch includes sausages wrapped in tortillas, bottled water, chips, cookies, a rosary, a "How to Pray the Rosary" pamphlet and a St. Michael medal. More information on the event day to come.
Volunteers are needed to help pack the lunch bags on Sunday, September 29.
Shifts start at 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM and 10:00 AM - until finished.
