At the end of her earthly life, the Blessed Virgin Mary was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory. The traditional Blessing of Herbs on this day recalls Our Lady as the flower of the field and lily of the valleys, whose tomb was found filled with fragrant blooms.

Marian Daughters will host a breakfast reception after the 10 AM Mass on the 15th.
