Caring for Our Beautiful & Historic Church

Roof Repair

Roof Repair Overview

As we approach the end of the year, we invite you to help fund an urgent and necessary project: the repair of the church’s historic copper roof. This work is necessary to protect the church from water intrusion and long-term structural damage.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 before December 31 to complete this project.

Why This Repair Is Needed

Specialists have identified two major valley sections of the copper roof that require immediate attention. Weathering and age have compromised the panels and underlying structure. If left unaddressed, leaks can cause significant damage to the church interior, plaster, electrical systems, and historic artwork.

This project includes:

  • Removing and salvaging existing copper roof panels

  • Repairing and stabilizing the underlying structure

  • Installing new high-temperature underlayment

  • Fabricating and installing new copper valley panels

  • Reinstalling salvaged panels with proper fasteners

  • Adding protective sealants and flashing

  • Cleaning the gutter and roof system

All repairs will be completed by professionals according to industry standards and include a 2-year warranty.
