Prayer and the Science of Sainthood | Feb 28 - Mar 1

According to Scripture, every one of us is called to “be perfect” and to “pray without ceasing.”

Prayer is the path to God and we’ve been doing it all our lives. But are we really praying?

Are we really progressing toward holiness, perfection, and a deep relationship with God?

In this talk we’ll define and discuss the three modes of prayer as taught by spiritual greats like St. Francis de Sales, St. John of the Cross, and St. Teresa of Avila.

We won’t just talk theory, but lay out the practical steps to achieve union with God through deep prayer even in the midst of this busy, distracting world.

Because if you’re not praying, you’re not living.

The Church of the Annunciation extends you the opportunity to offer reparations for the sin of abortion.

As we enter 2025, the Texas 89th Legislation and the 119th US Congress have both brought equal protection bills for the unborn to the floor. Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Indiana, South Carolina, Alabama have also introduced equal protection bills for the unborn.

Equal protect bills have been previously introduced and failed. These bills will receive opposition from both sides. The US Congress also presented the "Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act".

I urge you to read the bill text. Protecting the most vulnerable should never be up for debate. This is why we come together to pray for the conversion of hearts.

"It is only through prayer that we change the world for Christ." - Archbishop Sheen
