Ushers & Safety Team

We quietly keep the liturgy running smoothly and help foster a welcoming, prayerful environment.

Serve as an Usher

Who Can Serve

Men ages 18 and older.

No experience is needed—just a willingness to serve with reverence and hospitality.

When We Serve

Saturday Vigil Mass, Sundays, and special feast days

What We Do

Without ushers, a Mass could become less welcoming, less organized, and potentially less safe!

  • Provide hospitality – we are often the first people parishioners and visitors meet — setting the tone of warmth, respect, and reverence before Mass.

  • Maintain order and flow by guiding attendees to available seating and assist with flow during Communion and processions.

  • Assist the vulnerable such as elderly individuals, families with children, and those with special needs.

  • Maintain safety by responding to emergencies, keeping aisles clear, and discreetly handling any disruptions.

  • Support the Liturgy by collecting offerings, distributing bulletins or materials, and assisting the priest or deacon when needed.

Why You Should Serve

As an usher, you’re the first face many will encounter, setting the tone of warmth, order, and safety for the entire parish family.
