Evangelization
Taking our Catholic faith to the streets
St. Paul Street Evangelization is an (external) grassroots, non-profit organization that trains, equips, and mobilizes Catholics to share the Person of Jesus Christ and the truth and beauty of the Catholic faith.
Who Can Serve
Everyone is welcome to come (good-standing with the Catholic Church), even just to observe and pray.
When & Where We Serve
Downtown area during special events such as Astros games, events at the George R. Brown Convention Center, and Discovery Green Park.
Pasadena Indoor Flea Market (2222 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena), on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month from 12 pm - 3 pm
Why You Should Serve
We provide everything to help you fulfill the call of evangelization — from tools, resources, and opportunities.
Help share the person of Jesus Christ and the truth and beauty of the Catholic Faith to a hungry culture.
Engage the culture in a simple, non-confrontational way by making yourself available to the public, answering questions about the faith, and praying with those who request it.
What We Do
We are dedicated to responding to the mandate of Jesus to “preach the Gospel to all nations”.
At our display table, we meet dozens of people and share rosaries, crucifixes, and medals, while inviting everyone to attend Mass.
Teams of two or three also go out into the area, following Christ’s example in Luke 10 of sending the seventy-two disciples two by two. They witness openly to Our Lord and are ready to engage in respectful dialogue, even with those who oppose the Catholic Faith.
Many people prove open to conversation, and some reveal a deep spiritual hunger. Most welcome personal prayer.
In every encounter, we plant seeds of faith in their lives.
