Rain, thunderstorms & tornadoes, oh my!
Evangelism Outreach Report & Service to the Poor Saturday 2/21
Last Saturday, under the threat of bad weather (which never materialized), we decided to evangelize at the Lunar New Year celebration downtown. After studying the weather report, four of us braved it out because someone needed to hear about JESUS!. Dozens of people were engaged with many receiving prayer, prophetic words and sacramentals on this Valentines Day evening. It was a very special time where the love of Jesus was shared generously, which touched the evangelists as well as the evangelized. God truly responded to our faithfulness, and there wasn't a drop of rain downtown.
As mentioned last email St Vincent House in Galveston is having an outreach to the needy called the Winter Family Health Festival at Central Middle School on Saturday 2/21,10a-1p, 3014 Sealy St, Galveston, 77550. We will set up a SPSE table and expect a blessed time of prayers for those needing medical & health support. Please come and kick off the Season of Lent being a blessing to others.
PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT evangelize at Discovery Green this Sat 2/21 as previously scheduled, due to the Galveston outreach.
