Final FIFA-Fest World Cup Report & Future Evangelism Outreaches

Greetings in Christ Evangelists!
 
 Last Saturday ten of us evangelized the final Saturday of FIFA Fan Festival Houston at Shell Energy Stadium. Holy Spirit moved greatly! Well over 100 people received sacramentals (rosaries, holy medals/cards) with many engaging in prayers with our evangelists. At least three people made prayers of commitment to following Jesus. All were invited to mass with many given OCIA information.
 
 Some came to our table after passing it initially but felt drawn back. (Can you say, "thank you Holy Spirit?"). A Protestant Nigerian man with his wife and child past three times and then came to the table and said, "I just had to see what you had here". They received crucifixes and rosaries, and powerful prophetic words, sealed in prayer, which shook them (in a good way). A few groups of young men and women were engaged and drawn close to the Lord. A young lady timidly approached our table, stating she was on her way home. Staying over 20 minutes, she received the Gospel message and committed to following Our Lord. One of our lady evangelists exchanged contact information.
 
 We also engaged non-Catholic evangelists who were impressed how we prayed with people. Some of our evangelists joined them in spontaneous worship music. (See attached video.) Unlike some previous Protestant engagements, there was a sense of true unity in our Gospel message. Praise God!
 
 Last July Outreach this Saturday 7/25, 5-7p. Come to downtown Houston Discovery Green (McKinney/Crawford St near Bumper Boats) led by Maria Cortez. This is always a fun venue. Carpool from CCC leaves about 4:30p.

 -Saturday 8/1. No outreaches.
 -Saturday 8/8, 11a-2p. YAY we're back at Pasadena Flea Market (2222 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena). Led by Ivonne Resendiz.
 -Saturday 8/15, 4:30- 6:30pm. Astros Game/Daikin Park.  We'll set up next to Church of the Annunciation, Carpool from CCC leaves about 4:30p.
 -Saturday 8/22, 11a-2p. Pasadena Flea Market(2222 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena). Led by Ivonne Resendiz.
 -Saturday 8/29. TBA.
 
 Reminder: Free parking is available for Downtown/Ballpark events at the parking structure across from Annunciation at 1701 Capitol St, Houston 77003. Tell the parking attendant you are attending an event at Annunciation Church. Also there is always free parking at the Pasadena Flea Market.
