On the 3rd Saturday of the month in October, approximately 35-40 worshipers gathered for Mass and a Rosary Procession honoring Our Blessed Mother for this special event on the Month of the Holy Rosary. The Lord granted us a glorious fall day with not only perfect weather, but also a grace-filled day for all in attendance!
We began at 8:00 a.m. with Holy Mass presided by Msgr. Golosinski. We then walked the few blocks to Discovery Green Park where we gathered to pray the Rosary. This Month of the Rosary was a very special event hosted by both the Annunciation Rosary Center and The Marian Daughters.
The procession began by ceremoniously crowning the statue of Our Lady of Fatima at Discovery Green Park. We then processed with the statue of Our Lady around the periphery of the park, giving out rosaries and Miraculous Medals to those we encountered along our route. We then returned to the Foley House for a warm, catered breakfast where we enjoyed friendship and fellowship with all those present.
With the following Sunday being World Mission Sunday, many Blessed Bishop Sheen World Mission Rosaries were also given out to all those present. These rosaries were hand-made and donated by Teresa Dinning and the Junior Legion of Mary from St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Nassau Bay.
All participants proudly displayed their love for Our Lady and her Holy Rosary during this event. It was such a blessing and honor to be a part of this gathering!
