June Rosary Procession Around Discovery Green

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, parishioners from the Church of the Annunciation joined fellow Catholics from surrounding parishes, including St. Mary's in League City and St. Joseph's in Houston, for Holy Mass followed by a peaceful Rosary Procession around Discovery Green, in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Many rosaries were shared with those encountered along the route. One person commented that they had become aware of our presence there every third Saturday of the month. Another, who identified as Baptist, accepted a rosary packet that included a pamphlet on how to pray the rosary. After learning that the prayers of the rosary come straight from the Bible and include asking for Mary's powerful intercession, he expressed gratitude for the gift and said he looked forward to learning more. We also had the opportunity to encourage several "fallen-away" Catholics we encountered along the way.

We hope you will join us on the next third Saturday of the month and consider answering Jesus' call to evangelize others through your public witness of our beautiful Catholic faith. All are welcome!
