SPSE Report from Sat 12/6
Fellow Evangelists,
We had ANOTHER successful outreach last Saturday afternoon at Discovery Green park downtown Houston. We had two vehicles carpool from the Catholic Charismatic Center and a couple of people transport themselves directly to DG. We handed out many rosaries, crucifixes, holy medals/cards and children's material, all leading to a sharing of the Gospel message and engaging in prayer. We shared with many including a family in which three of the members committed to following Christ. We also prayed for healing for a man who had severely injured his ankle (on crutches) and was profoundly touched by God, along with his wife. We also encouraged many through prophetic words, words of knowledge and words of wisdom. We love being Our Lord's hand extended!
Upcoming Outreaches: This Saturday 12/13/25 we'll be evangelizing at the Pasadena Flea Market (11a-2p, left front entrance, 2222 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena) led by a NEW Station Leader, Ivonne Resendiz! Please come out and support her team. She is a great evangelist!
Also Discovery Green (Crawford & McKinney St) the following Saturday 12/20 5-8p. (Christmastime next to the ice-skating rink). We'll carpool from the Catholic Charismatic Center (CCC) to the Church of the Annunciation at 430p. Those wishing to drive themselves downtown can use the parking structure (for free) across from the Church of the Annunciation at 1701 Capitol St. and walk 3 blocks to DG. Tell any attendants you are attending an event at the Church of the Annunciation.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR EVANGELISTS: Any baptized Catholic in good standing with the Church is welcome to join us. Good standing means you agree with what the Church teaches and are living a life reflecting that (no cohabitation, obeying the precepts of the Church, etc.). Evangelists are not perfect people but stay connected with Holy Church striving to follow Christ in their lives. As we evangelize we receive graces from God to better connect with Him.
